The Masi family has been making wine for centuries in Salento, a land of incomparable landscape and artistic beauty which has always been particularly suited to the cultivation of vines and olive trees thanks to the uniqueness of its microclimatic characteristics.
The family farm for generations had been cultivated with native vines such as Primitivo, Malvasia, Negroamaro. In the first half of the last century, when the farm was managed by Sir Nunzio Masi, a new impetus was given to the company, new vines were implanted and greater care was given to the viticulture. After him, his sons, above all his daughter Lady Amelia, continued their father’s work. And to each of them we dedicate one of our excellent wines.
In the vineyards we work with rigor, producing grapes with low yields. Particular attention is given to bunches and only the best ones arrive in the winery where it starts the meticulous control of production till the final product through measures for wine-making.
From the union between the experience in the vineyard and respect for the traditions from one hand and new production technologies from the other, originate wines of excellent quality, the result of the passion with which we follow all the steps: from grapes to must, from the must to wine and from wine to the bottle!
