Salice Salentino DOP, takes its name from town site northwest of Lecce. The production area belongs to Salento.The territory of Salice Salentino is particularly suited for viticulture, which is here practiced so prevalent for centuries. There are two native grape varieties such as Negroamaro and  Black Malvasia.

HARVEST The grapes are harvested by hand, are of stems and placed in stainless steel tanks.
WINE The grapes are vinified using the technique of fermentation in red, and temperature-controlled, a special procedure allows to extract intact the antioxidants present in the skins of the grapes.
AGING The wine is refined in barrels of French oak staying
ALCOHOL CONTENT 14.5,%
NOTES FROM THE WINEMAKER  Intense ruby red color, to the nose is complex and persistent characteristic of Negroamaro grapes, in the mouth the flavor is hot  and dry.
FOOD PAIRINGS

Goes well with first dishes with meat sauce and sauces in general, second ourses of red meats, roasts and grilled meats in the oven, shown with hard heeses.
